Miranda v. Arizona (1966)
The Miranda v. Arizona case was trying to protect the fifth amendment rights. They had a 5-4 majority ruling for letting him go because they did not inform him of his rights. I don't agree with the courts decision because if he admitted to committing a crime that is his fault and people are told all of the time that they have the "right to an attorney and everything they say can and will be used against them in the court of law." This affects me because if I were to get arrested I would need to know my rights so that I don't put myself in harms way.
