Tinker v. Des Moines
The issue in this case was the violation of a students right of expression. The court decided that it was okay that the school could discipline the students because the arm bands that they wore "was distracting students" but they also won on a majority for the students. The final count was a 7-2 vote majority. I do agree with the courts decision because they were expressing what they feel and believe in. This affects me because if I want to wear a Hitler shirt or a Satan worship shirt I should be allowed to.
